Since ABC has decided to stop coverage of the Iowa State game 100 miles south of a major market that is only 3 hours or so from the stadium (Minneapolis), I was wondering what other options will be available at game time to watch the game.

I am aware of channelsurfing.net, but have had problems bringing up that page on Saturdays.

I have DirecTV, so I will check some of the alternate channels. Usually when ABC carries a game, and that game isn't offered to your local affiliate, then you're out of luck (unlike when a game is carried by ESPN or Fox and you can usually find one of their alternate channels broadcasting the game unblocked).

(Hopefully no one else has started this thread already. I looked three pages in and couldn't see any obvious choices.)

I NEED HELP!!!

I live in KY and the ABC coverage map says I will get the penn state game and espn2 will have the gergia tech game. Do you guys know if I will be able to the game on another channel? Like maybe ESPN ALT or somthing? I hope so cuz this is going to be one huge upset!!! I can't wait! Please let me know if you know how this will work for me. and FYI I have Direct TV with the sports pack if that matters.

Re: I NEED HELP!!!

Channel #788 DTV Game plan.....may have to pay, ala carte..? or subscribition....?

Re: I NEED HELP!!!

In the past you could get the ESPN gameplan on a single day sub for $20 or something, so that or ESPN 360 is your only option. The alt feed for ABC will be the Big 10 game on Directv it looks like. (channel 211)

Its listed on ESPN360. I live in Big11 country, so I'll be watching it on 360. Thank goodness Charter allows it now.

There is always Joe Sensors in Bloomington as well as any Buffalo Wild Wings, they should all have the game plan and be able to pull from another regional feed.

I'd head to one of the Sensers locations...always a lot of fellow Cyclones there and a good place to watch a game.
