Honestly, I wouldn't rule out anyone to be our QB for next year, and certainly wouldn't rule out Steele. With a new OC who knows what skills will be most highly coveted. Barnett has been good, but he certainly has his deficiencies. You'd be crazy to rule Steele out at this point.

If Steele is the same QB as last year, he wont win. If he improves which 99% of the time happens to a player new to a position, he wins bar none.

All this debate is kind of moot now. We will have a new qb coach, a new OC, so it will be a clean slate for all these guys. It should be an open competition to see who works best in the new offense (even if it is real similar).

Regardless of the skill set, the team plays better with JB at Quarterback. Some guys just have it, and I think he does.
