That was college. He won three state champs in high school. Freshman were ineligible there as well.
The only time someone going for a fourth title got beat was a kid from Lisbon in the early 90's. Got beat in the semis by the kid he beat in the finals the year before. He was up a few points in the third period but got tossed to his back for five points in the final 30 seconds and lost

Not a huge fan of Gremmel's antics tonight. Kid is a hell of an athlete at heavyweight, but I haven't heard great things about his character and tonight didn't do anything to make me think any differently.
Sounded to me like he didn't get the boos until he gestured toward the opposing crowd for about 15 seconds instead of celebrating with his own crowd.

Yeah, I didn't care for Gremmel's antics at all, but he is just a high school kid, so you have to cut him some slack for being a bit immature IMO. Hopefully he'll grow up and become more mature at ISU.
Did anyone watch that Max Lyon from Western Dubuque? Does he have any offers yet? He's a stud.
