Usually I sweat this game when looking ahead to it, but I got a feeling this year ISU handles them and it's over after 3 qtrs. Kiss of death I know, but I feel some good mojo with this team right now.

I, too, am optimistic about our chances. I'd certainly love to have a VERY comfortable lead going into the 4th quarter to give Rohach or Lanning some reps. But, at this point, I'll take a win any way we can get it.Usually I sweat this game when looking ahead to it, but I got a feeling this year ISU handles them and it's over after 3 qtrs. I heard an interview on the radio with Gary Reima (sp?), the play-by-play guy for UNI radio. He talked at length about the awesome new OC for the Panthers, how he ran an up-tempo offense at some DII school, and how great this new offense is going to be and they are going to snap the ball within the first 10-12 seconds of the play clock every time or some such thing.
I know others have mentioned it on here, but no where in the interview did anybody mention that this is basically the standard Big 12 offense. I'm hoping that UNI is in for some pee in the cheerios when they realize that we game plan for this all the time. Here's to hoping, anyhow.
