Starting lineup changes?

play Batemon more look to the future
I hope you're not suggesting give up on this season, but you are typically pretty negative, so maybe you are. Regardless, this is a team with 3 talented seniors, the best 3-point shooter in school history, and several other good players. Sure, play Batemon more, but I'm not close to throwing in the towel.

I’d play Batemon purely because he is a good shooter and we need to be developing younger players. He looked great against Kansas and is getting better defensively

Nope, it's bench everyone and play everyone else season so they can get beat by 50 and send a message after TJ gets T'd up because it's exciting.

Well TJ likes his "habits" and being "consistent".
That's something I've noticed with Rogers versus what we have come accustomed to with Campbell and TJ. They want to be multiple, in their words. Where The Process and Habits are good for consistency, it seems like it also becomes a stubborn trait which hurts flexibility.

I think Tamin is either hurt or barely keeping healthy enough to play. Jefferson is a turnover machine. Need Tamin running the point more aggressively and getting kick outs off penetration.
During the KU game I swear he tweaked an ankle or reaggravated the groin or something. Looked like he was limping and stayed in.

At this point we probably just need to assume he’s injured to some extent.

Running offense through Jefferson is good, but it needs happen with getting the ball around the lane and not with him dribbling so much.

Maybe we could let Rogers get a season in before knowing what his general approach is or how he does with perceived adjustments.

If tamin is already having groin issues I'd rather sit him for a very long stretch now and do the best we can without him. Id rather be a 6 seed or higher and have a healthy tamin in March than be a top 3 seed and be limping into March. Winning the big 12 is over already anyway.

We already had a chance to give him almost a month off and he was still out there againt sub-300 teams.

Jefferson has struggled mightily the last couple games.
This. TJ was on the staff when ISU had Royce White. There was a game at OU that year where I think Royce took one shot, but he basically dominated the game by getting everyone else involved. They need to show Josh that tape.

Sure but that doesn't change the fact its a weakness within our two programs the past years.

Yup. Quick check in the last 5 games he has 20 TOs.

I think the room for flexibility to something sustainable might be one of the more overestimated aspects of either program and that's saying something.

Especially within the season or game to game.

I feel like Matt got better at making changes after season but game to game not so much and in game it seemed we always waited too long to change. Of course the other team has smart coaches as well and should probably get a better portion of the credit.
