Starlink - anyone using for tailgating?

Well…we got it. I have tried it locally with great success. Super fast. We are going to take it with us this summer and try “working from RV” and see how it performs. I will have my Dish for backup this fall.
What is the startup cost and then monthly fee? I assume u can turn it off and on on a monthly basis.

$695 for the equipment to get started. Too expensive, but is what it is.
Then $150 per month for the Roam (RV) service. You can shut it off when not using it on a per month basis.

It’s expensive no doubt. If it works and we can get internet in the RV wherever we are to work remote and use it for the tailgates, it will pay for itself in no time.

Just got back from the walleye opener in Ontario and used Starlink while there. It was great but did drop a call occasionally. We were able to stream anything we wanted to watch.
