Which will be hitting theaters in 2025 at the earliest. Also, that is if they aren't pushed back or cancelled. They have a track record of announcing and then changing their plans. Must be getting their queue from Marvel.

In the mean time the brand suffers due to low quality D+ content. Apathy is setting in.

You think Andor was low quality?

Andor was very good IMO. However, it was filmed almost entirely before or during 2018-2019. We will see if Season 2's quality is the same. If it goes down the path Mando is going in Season 3, I will be very disappointed but not surprised.

So, are all those SW books I read in the 90's finally going to come in handy???
I would think so. It would be stupid for disney to not use the themes and ideas from the popular expanded universe books and comics.

Just dont screw it up and let the directors do whatever they want for a whole trilogy.

Season 2 of “Star Wars: Visions” will release on May 4, which is known as Star Wars Day among the fans (“May the Fourth be with you”). The nine animation studios that worked on Season 2 are El Guiri, Cartoon Saloon, Punkrobot, Aardman, Studio Mir, Studio La Cachette, 88 Pictures, D’Art Shtaijo with Lucasfilm and Triggerfish.

The contributors’ previous credits are impressive this season. Cartoon Saloon is a five-time Oscar-nominated animation studio, most recently for “Wolfwalkers” on Apple TV+; Aardman is known for the stop-motion, claymation characters from “Wallace and Gromit”; Studio Mir has worked on hit shows like “The Legend of Korra” and “Harley Quinn”; just to highlight a few of the teams’ projects.

That would be helpful.

I had taken the approach for a long time ... a LONG time ... that anything animated in SW isn't part of "my cannon."

Probably need to change that, eh?
I put together an "Ultimate Stars Watch List" after Mando season 1 for a friend that wanted to watch Clone Wars and Rebels without the entire time commitment.

I'll probably update it soon, but here's the link to it:

Thank you! I've steered clear from most of the animated stuff because I just can't make it through Clone Wars S1. Star Wars Visions has been great since those are all stand-alone.

Clone Wars and Rebels both have pretty rough first seasons but have some stellar stuff later on that's worth watching.

Clone Wars also aired way out of chronological order, so I tried to address that as well.

The first three seasons are a mess from that standpoint, but I think in Season 4, they are in chronological order.
