Totally got distracted last night and forgot the new episode of Mandalorian dropped. Did watch the season finale of The Bad Batch, well almost all of it. They released the final two episodes, but fell asleep with probably a few minutes left in the second one. Don't know if they are planning on a third season or not, because from what I remember it didn't look like they had the story wrapped up.

Yeah they left it very open. I thought this season of Bad Batch ended strongly. They are tying in some really good expanded universe stuff and bringing it into cannon

So the episode of the Mandalorian was really good, but I still hate it when they play fast and loose with travel times in hyperspace.

Now that I think about it some more. I have a feeling that the person who sent the attack on bo katans home is also the same who rescued Gideon.

I think it has to be a grand admiral or a grand moff. I don't believe it would be thrawn, doesn't seem his style and not sure how Gideon and thrawn would be connected.

I have a feeling it's the faction of mandos that gar Saxon lead during rebels. He died but the faction was working with the empire.

quite the fun cameo episode. I could have easily seen this as a clone wars episode.

It was a fun episode and a really neat look at a different side of the galaxy than we're used to seeing. Episodes like this feel like pure filler, but this particular one helped with universe building.
I liked it and the cameos were a lot of fun but I scroll through google news and I already see an article or two calling it the worst episode ever.

That's one way to get clicks, I suppose.

If we really want to call an episode of season 3 the worst ever, it has to be the one where they go hunting the huge bird monster to it's nest, right?

I definitely don't get where that's coming from. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Most of it had that "adventure of the week" feel that the show consistently thrives with, and the final scene was outstanding, IMO. I got goosebumps.

I'm definitely interested to see how the dynamic changes with Din and the Children of The Watch when Bo-Katan comes back with the Darksaber. Obviously Din is perfectly fine with her leading right now, but maybe that changes if conflict arises with the Armorer or Vizsla. I still think the Armorer views Bo-Katan as a useful chess piece right now, but if Bo rightfully wields the Darksaber, she could be seen as a threat. And I could be way off base with all of that; I just can't shake the feeling of distrust for the Armorer.
