That's something we have to be careful about. Keeping their comedy and acting careers separate.Once again stand up is the focus. I think some of these names are more famous for acting in movies vs actual stand up.
I don't disagree but a name like Ellen DeGeneres comes to mind as being hard to distinguish. She had some great standup in the 80s, I think she was coined "funniest person" at one point around this time. But today I have a completely different view of her career.Once again stand up is the focus. I think some of these names are more famous for acting in movies vs actual stand up.

They started out decent, but their act devolved into talking over each other and then landing on a punchline together.Sklar brothers might be my least favorite comedians ever. They are dreadful.
I have a feeling the hate list could get caved pretty quicklyThis is gonna be a long list, so I hope some my favorites aren't in the "last 4 out", I'm not putting like Chappelle that I know they'll be in.
Steven Wright
John Mulaney
Tom Segura
Mark Normand
Jimmy O Yang
Hannibal Buress
Natasha Leggero
We could also do a hate list too, that can be the last 4.![]()

I think that's a key ... it's OK to include someone better-known for acting vs. stand-up, as long as they're assessed for inclusion/seeding strictly for stand-up.That's something we have to be careful about. Keeping their comedy and acting careers separate.
You were not around probably when dice hit. He was off the charts. If you get offended easy, Dice is not for you, that is for sure .They started out decent, but their act devolved into talking over each other and then landing on a punchline together.
Hindsight, Smothers Brothers or Lucas Brothers would have been better inclusions.
But "least favorite" ? Have you never seen Andrew Dice Clay?
He's probably the most offensive comic ever, but I love it.You were not around probably when dice hit. He was off the charts. If you get offended easy, Dice is not for you, that is for sure .
Lol. Being offended by Dice isn't even on the list of why I don't like him.You were not around probably when dice hit. He was off the charts. If you get offended easy, Dice is not for you, that is for sure .
This is a good comprehensive list to start with, but we need Redd Foxx and Andy Kaufman on here. While @Shawker finishes up the Pixar tourney I wanted to get a stand up nomination thread up.
Also if people want to join as a committee member for this one that would be great. A few regular members are sitting this one out so getting some new blood is always good.
