Stadium Construction Pics 7/17

The intersection SE of the stadium next to the designated student drinking area has always been a disaster to keep the vehicle flow moving. I expect less stoppage of north south traffic flow and the students crossing to the north to crossover on the new bridge. We park in the Vet Med parking and I assume we will use the bridge.

I didn't realize that they were putting in those outside ramps to the ends of the concourse as well. That will clear up congestion a TON.
Looks like that ramp will only run to the north side of the stadium. Didn't see any indication the ramp would continue to the south side.

Gosh...must be just terrible. Only 15' wide of grass space for each RV to use and what....50' of depth? With electricity? Yeah...I really feel terrible for the RVers.
Is anyone actually upset about the bridge or new lot? I know of only one guy that’s actually pissed about this.

Must be to help out the people who sit on the west side of the stadium. Still, that will help a ton with congested foot traffic on the concourse.

Thing is…the old lots had them parked side by side on only one side. The rest of the area between was used for tents, chairs, etc.

It works out to the exact same amount of space, with grass instead of just concrete.

The D-lot rows are 48' on center. With 2 RVs per row, that's 24' of space for each.

In the new RV park, each RV has 10' of concrete and 14' of grass, which adds up to...24'.

I think they said it was to help channel people to the Plaza. That could also translate in a few years to “to the shopping”.

For #1 or #2?

RV spots are 55 feet long (each continuous patch of concrete is 110 feet long and holds 2 spots).

The concrete is 10 feet wide and the grass is 14 feet wide.

The road between rows is 22 feet side. I hope latecomers are good at backing up.

I know some who are unhappy about being 'out there' as opposed to previously having spots that were more in the middle of it all and easier for people to get to.

But, as someone who lost their tailgating spot in S4 when the SEZ was built, its the price of progress.
