Ok but what does that mean? What are you saying he's not doing that he should be doing? It's not a priority.... and it shows... every fuc*ing year.
That special teams have been a ******* joke in Campbell’s tenure. What does this mean specifically?
I don't want to get into a semantics battle about what specifically means but that ain't it.That special teams have been a ******* joke in Campbell’s tenure.
I think he is saying that CMC would just prefer the ST play be over as quickly and inconsequentially as possible and the offense or defense can get back on the field.Ok but what does that mean? What are you saying he's not doing that he should be doing?
Go into winter workouts, spring ball, summer workouts, fall pre season and triple or more the time you dedicate to special team practice and player development. I don't know exactly what Campbell does to put the ST product on the field he does ... but it's obviously a D priority to him.Ok but what does that mean? What are you saying he's not doing that he should be doing?
Not really when he has had quality specialists. Tyler and Kyle are elite, but unfortunately Jace is hurt and Kyle is returning from injury. Totally changed our special teams. That special teams have been a ******* joke in Campbell’s tenure.
As much as I hate to say it ... look at a team and head coach like Iowa that prioritizes special teams ... and yes, margins. They know they don't have the talent to out cute other teams ... but they win in the special team battle and it pays off. Now I have to go shower.
Or hire the Iowa special teams coach and recruiterNext time use Beamer the old Va Tech coach for an example. Much easier that way
Does it really matter when Flora clearly called fire and Ngoyi stayed engaged for 10 seconds afterwards? Totally brain dead moveOn another note, how the **** was that legal when the BYU gunner held Ngoyi and pulled him into the ball from 8 yards away? Everyone in the stadium around me was baffled.
From our vantage point in the stadium it appeared that he was trying to disengage but the BYU player was holding him from doing so. Have not watched it back on TV.Does it really matter when Flora clearly called fire and Ngoyi stayed engaged for 10 seconds afterwards? Totally brain dead move
I disagree. The past 2 or 3 years they did make it a priority. And it was better, and it won them games. Now its back to crap. It's not a priority.... and it shows... every fuc*ing year.
The BYU player had him by the facemask IIRC.From our vantage point in the stadium it appeared that he was trying to disengage but the BYU player was holding him from doing so. Have not watched it back on TV.
Because he's dainty. Why doesn’t Kyle do kickoffs. He can kick the crap out of the ball
It could be the other teams kicker kicks it our of the endzone. We can't even kickto the 5 yard line. Other team ends up on the 40-45. We should just kick it our of bounds and give it up to the 35.The fact that they continue to make the same exact mistakes that have cost them for 10 years now is truly impressive.
Kickoff coverage has also been terrible all year. I don’t know that we’ve even attempted a return on a kickoff since Townsend screwed up the one against Iowa.
