Spain Trip

For not playing very aggresive on defense we sure did do a lot of fouling. Could be partially due to European rules too, idk. Just seemed odd.

I heard some of the guys actually lost games at their local YMCAs this summer too. Doomed I say, doomed!!!!!!!!

The crazy lady in the facebook comments was told we were playing against the best players in Venezuela. She replied, "exactly they play soccer not basketball"

The best thing we can do as fans... is keep bringing this loss up until the season gets here.

I wonder if Coach Prohm can do an impromptu call in show in Spain to help remedy the problem with the team.

We need answers!

Oh no, the best thing we can do as fans is after that first loss, everyone comes together and agrees that they could see that loss coming since the Spain trip.

A lot more teams lose on these trips than I realized & the games are closer as well. I guess I shouldn't have assumed these would be easy wins but it really isn't a big deal at all.

I understand that this game is meaningless, but I'd still prefer they would have won. I bet the ISU players feel the same way, but couldn't get it done. guessing the next game will be a blowout.

Meh. We basically had 6 scholarship kids playing. Looks like 3 fouled out...ouch. Probably finished game with 4 players..lol. And still nearly won. Can't imagine it was very organized and euro rules so....losing isn't so bad at this point. Gives Prohm and team a chance to work on stuff etc.. Aside from Monte, Thomas, and Cooke we have no other scholly guards playing and I'm sure Cooke isn't quite 100%.

Clearly someone should have sent CW on this trip to cover it. That'd be close enough to a vacation.
