Taking a knee was the one way there was zero chance of losing. Score, they score a quick touchdown, which they already had and all it takes to lose is a successful onside kick. I'm glad Campbell isn't as myopic and vengeful as you.
K state could also block the extra point and take it back for 2 points of their own getting the ball back down 7.
I’m glad you forget how much time was actually left on the last knee lol. Some of you guys are responding like KState would even have 30 seconds of clock left (mind you, with zero timeouts). My supposed myopic and vengeful opinion was running a sneak with a few seconds left on the clock. Some of the replies have been absolutely asinine. Onto Iowa, I suppose!
Mike Warren had 195 yards and iirc CPR was trying to get him to 200.
Style over substance tends to not go well.

What needs to be edited about it? I clearly explained it numerous times after to which posters still replied those follow up posts. Two posts later I even explained few seconds left. Lol
My point was that it is less impressive to have 62 points when you have to punch it in with less than a minute left (and could have knelt to end the game) than if you scored 62 in the normal flow of the game. Most teams either kneel or have conservative runs with their 3rd or 4th string when they are up big late in the 4th. While there is the argument that the 4th stringer may not get a ton of opportunities to score a touchdown, there is the flip side that you can avoid any further injuries, stay classy, and get out of there as quickly as possible. Go look at the play-by-play of other lopsided games. Kneeling is pretty normal. Punching it in with 30 seconds left is pretty rare and does not earn more respect for the teams that do it, generally speaking.
There were a few in the game thread iirc that wanted ISU to do that right away when they got to 1st and goal, and it looks like you're saying the same thing.
Your original post (bottom) doesn't clarify that you're talking about with 2 seconds left.
If you want to keep explaining that to posters as they keep quoting you, go for it.
I wasn’t in the game thread, and literally two posts later is the first explanation, posters have replied to my posts even when I said a few seconds left. Try again.

From what I saw folks keep quoting your original post on this so you have to keep explaining. It would take you less time to clarify that in the original post than having to explain it a few times.

Hunter Dekkers was in a NFL camp this year. If he can make that happen out of NAIA Bouman can do that from FCS.
I thought Heft & Walters did a fine job keeping up with the multiple substitutions and gave the reserves much respect and called the game well all the way to the end.
But a person expects nothing but that from that announcing duo.
