the basketball version of CPR. Some great moments (most under Hoiberg's players) besides the conference tourney win last year.

Last year finishing .500 in conf. in a peak year with the previous year going under .500 overall plus this year likely going under .500 overall. It's going in a downward spiral.

The main concern about losing tonight is the fan base is going to be in full apathy mode. Ticket sales will go down which will send the message to JP.

Prohm's saving grace was giving him an extension until 2025...another time he extended a coach too early (CPR) based off of average results with prior players.

It's probably harsh to fire him after a tourney title, but a 3 day run isn't as important as regular season and NCAA tourney (since that is the main prize).

Realistically, he won't get canned until 2021...but my prediction is Hali leaves and he'll be gone then. I wouldn't be opposed if ISU got bailed out by a McD situation again (a southern team offers and Pollard doesn't put up much of a fight).

This makes me wonder if JP already has some names out there to contact.

That Iowa game, if not other games, had to get some thoughts going.
