Solomon Young Updates

I think TJ found a really good one here. Only reason he isn't a top prospect is he is a tweener but the guy is high energy, athletic, has inside and outside game and looks really strong. I think him and Long are going to be really good college players.

His strength, quickness and jumping ability are impressive, but he's more polished than I expected. He has some skills. I especially like his high, quick release on shots 17' and out.

He and Jakolby Long are physical freaks. Great to see. Keep that type of athlete coming TJ and Prohm!

Kinda cool how the video combined highlights from his freshman, sophomore, junior and senior season. You can defeniltey see the strides he made each year. Finally Iowa State may actually have some depth next year if the roster looks like we all think/hope it will.

Solomon has some pretty solid form on his jump shot, nice surprise. If he can continue to develop that aspect of his game and get consistent with it, he will have some serious potential.

There arent many recruits ISU gets where you go there is no way this guy doesnt succeed here but Young is definitely one of those, cant wait to see him in cardinal and gold.

Don't see the two star ranking that espn gives him. He looks better than that. Only think is that I don't see any dribbling highlights. A little concerning for someone hoping to play the 3/4 in our offense.

He's not looking to play the 3/4, he's looking to play the 4 and maybe some stretch 4 (no dribbling). Maybe down the road he can develop to a 3, but probably not until he's a JR/SR. Might have the same path as Ejim in that regard.
