Schon was similiar in high school. A 220/285 pounder for as long as I remember. This is a huge cut for him also

Rated as the No. 22 overall prospect in the nation and No. 9 at 220 pounds … compiled a 144-7 career record in four years at Selinsgrove High School (Pa.), including 77 falls … most accomplished wrestler in school history … three-time state finalist (2019, 2020, 2021) and two-time state champion (2019, 2021) in class 3A, Pennsylvania’s largest class … finished his senior season with a 39-1 record at heavyweight … 2021 The Daily Item Wrestler of the Year … state runner-up as a junior with a 37-2 record at 220 pounds … 33 of his 37 wins came by fall or tech fall, including 20 pins … registered a 40-1 record and racked up 29 bonus-point victories en route to his first state title as a sophomore ... owns the school record with 21 career tech falls … placed eighth in the state in 2018 … also played football and baseball … won a 2019 state baseball championship.
Interested in seeing him here shortly...in the hole on mat 6. He has looked decent minus those few moments that almost cost him. Needs to get some oxygen and scrap

Shot by parker counter by Perryman and a takeodwn 3-0, cuts 3-1. Sweet little ankle pick from perryman for another TD 6-1. No interest in riding and cuts him 6-2. Another deep shot by Parker counter by perryman and gets the TD making it 9-2. Drives parker out of bounds. restart. Perryman cuts 9-3
Start of the 2nd perryman goes down. A few breakdowns by parker but ethan to his feet and escapes 10-3. Perryman was in on a shot ran out of real estate. Back to center. Heavy hands by both of these guys. Little blast double by parker into a single attempt but perryman cuts the corner and gets the TD 13-3. Cut by perryman 13-4. Flurry by parker perryman keeps circling back to center and period ends 13-4
Parker down. He's out make it 13-5 little fireman attempt from parker nothing doing on it. Perryman little snap into a single . elevating it but they go out. Big double by Perryman making it 16-5, he cuts 16-6.

Rojas vs Carrigan from UNC.
Rojas with a TD about a minute into it 3-0. Rojas no attemp to ride on the restart and its 3-1. Another TD from Rojas up 6-1. Esacpe 6-2. Stalling maybe? 7-2.

Schon vs Liber of yep bellermine....idk looked like acramble with no control but liber with the TD and then another scramble with a reversal making it 2-3. Great suck back from Schon and gets 4 back points 6-3 now and looking for more but nope. Up over 1 min riding time. Great wrist and we should have more coming 10-3 and looking like some more on top of that into a headlock for 4 more 14-3

Yes and I believe they have an Iowa connection. Their coach Ned Shuck wrestled at Iowa. He was previously a HS head coach at Chaska hs in MN and an assistant coach at Army. Maybe had some other stops I am not sure.
They're in the SoCon and this is the first year they're eligible to qualify guys for NCAA's.
