Soldier Salute

I believe we will have several starters head to this tourney, I have never been to it, looking forward to seeing some live wrestling.

A week ago or so, Dresser said we were sending two (unnamed) to the Soldier Salute. Several weeks ago, he indicated that we might also have some wrestlers at Midlands. I guess it remains to be seen.

As of today we are not listed as having any wrestlers at Midlands. In Dresser's comments after the Collegiate Duals he only mentioned sending guys to Soldier Salute. According to Track we have 10 entered for Soldier Salute.

Also says 10 for Iowa which is a bit surprising, figured they’d have 2 to 3 per weight.

Honestly, the way so many are 10 makes me think that is a default setting. Teams probably still haven’t entered their actual rosters.

In the past this tournament has not been much other than Iowa wrestle offs. The venue is neat, if you can tolerate the atmosphere. I had a lot to explain to my kids after taking them last year.

There were actually some non-Iowa guys who ended up solid there last year.

Definitely not CKLV level, but it seems to be getting better.

I think Dresser is still deciding on who is going. The ones that WANT to go, had to report yesterday for practice at 6PM. They have a couple practices today, and then he will prolly decide. Some WAG's: Meza, Grice, Rojas, Osmany, perryman, are some I would bet are going
