Midlands has some good brackets, I wish we'd send guys there. I know it isn't what it used to be, but it's better than the SS and I like the idea of them seeing other competition than mostly Iowa and UNI guys they already see.

More wrestlers and all Div I at Midlands this year
MUCH better brackets. If Kysen makes the finals, he had to wrestle UNI, ISU, IOWA, ISU this tournament (assuming Cruz and Meza make it). Half your matches against teammates? Why even send them here..
Yeah couple more hours down the road to Chicago. Maybe that changes in the future, but the SS competition isn't really any different than wrestling in the GV open or our Cyclone open.

Nice TD up 3-0 riding time up over 1:30 gives up the escape with like :07 left in the 1st. Up 3-1 after 1
Gets the escape and TD about 30 seconds into the 2nd up 7-1.

How he wrestled is exactly how we wrestled last year...pushing the pace forward pressure TD on the edges if the guys want to back up there.

Kysen immediately into a shot (sorta mad he doens't do that all the time) gets the early TD up 3-0. Cuts Perryman to make it 3-1. Another TD for Kysen making it 6-1. Kysen going to keep him down for the end of the 1st.

Drake in deep on a shot and Grice doing his best to fend it off got a scramble and they go off the mat. Drake in another shot but grice fights it off for a stalemate again. Grice getting warned I think for a choke? Missed what was said. 0-0 after 1.
