Rashon Clark would make a great head coach. You need character, and he is full of it. He will always be remembered as a loyal cyclone - the exact opposite of .. well you know who.
That is funny you say that, because me and Jiri's girlfriend call them boyfriends :biggrin: Seems Rahshon has a lot of boyfriends! Haha (He doesn't swing that way either) I better say that before a rumor gets spread around!
Careful now. You don't want Wesley Johnson finding out about that. I think one of these days you are going to have to pick one, you can't keep dragging them both along.

Ok, I am skeptical by nature...
How do we know this is really Rahshon's fiancee? I need proof, such as an identifying birthmark or embarrassing story not known to the public. Or maybe have him tug on his ear before his next freethrow to let the people of CF know this is legit!

I was thinking the other day how elated it would make me to have a picture standing between the two of them... (dreamy sigh). I'm not sure you could take that picture any way but vertically, however, and still fit us all in the same shot, seeing as how I'm 5'2"...
I think it's great that you posted, Cyfan13. Hopefully people will think about how their words affect others when they post - we appreciate these guys so much, and hope they know that!!
Rahshon will go down as one of the great Cyclones. For EVERYTHING he has done for this program. He and Jiri stayed and are helping to lay the ground work for a winning program in the future. It may not work out that they get a lot of ESPN time or see the NCAA toury but, everytime this team makes the NCAA tourny or does good things in the future these 2 can be proud because they helped make that happen. They may not play in those games but they they will still be a part of that team.
Coach Mac and Rahshon seem to have a neat bond, seem to enjoy one another, and that is so cool to me. If professonal BB doesnt work out for him I hope he returns to Ames to coach with Mac.
And remember the negative posts on message boards are not the way most of the fans feel. Just the radical minority.

This reminds me, since you say that Rahshon and Jiri frequent the boards...Does it bother them when people spell their names wrong? I mean, I imagine this happens to Rahshon a lot. Is he just used to it by now?
We should have a night where one of the basketball players (Rahshon!) comes on for a question/answer threadsession. Oh man... the server would probably crash. You could have the questions moderated before they're posted too, just to make sure the questions aren't totally out there. Would be a very fun event.

I just wanted to throw my two cents in as well. I really like Rahshon as he has and always will be one of my favorite Cyclones. I enjoy this highlight real dunks and that fact that he stayed when he could have gone to a more up tempo style offense (Memphis, Cincinnati) and averaged a lot more points. He has a great all round game, however, as he plays great defense. I don't know him as a person, but the one time I did meet him was at fan fest the first year JP did it. He was so nice. He stood patiently while I took a picture of him and my friend's 7 year old son. He then talked to us for a brief time and I was impressed how down to earth and polite that he was. Others have had the same experience. I am glad that he stayed as he is a great representative of ISU!
Haha...Rahshon is VERY used to people not spelling his name right. Even the coaches/managers spell it wrong every once in awhile. He doesn't really mind. I just find it kind of funny since you think people see their names enough to know, but oh well!
That would be nice...I don't know if he would ever be able to do it though...They have those guys on a pretty short leash when it comes to "media" stuff. It has has to be approved by the team's media guy. I don't know if they would consider this media, but i'm guessing they might
