Randy and Hines were going on last night about Gilbert and not knowing if he could make a FG. They also harped on the blocked extra point. "We dont know if he can make a FG AND he did have that extra point blocked..."

The kid is 5-5 and if I remember correctly the blocked extra point wasnt his fault. The team hasnt needed Gilbert to kick a 50 yarder at this point. I guess I trust the kid until he proves me wrong.
Well that certainly didn’t take long I guess.

Randy retired in place decades ago, the Register is now just a hobby and reason to get up every day and take an occasional shower.

The DMR pays him a small stipend so someone will be around to turn out the lights after the last edition is published, any day now.

I stand by my original comment. Randy had no reason not trusting a kid who was 5-5 on FGs at the time of his comment. After that game I agree with his comment.

Gannett is slashing and burning again, so here's another chance to hang it up.

Randy looks like he is taking a leak on Mr. Sukup...that might get him fired.
