I'm sure I'll get several "eat s%$t and die" responses but serious congratulations on a great season. Hopefully Campbell will stick around and continue to make ISU a force to be reckoned with in the conference, it'll be good to have company grinding Texas into the dirt. Your herd of massive tight ends are a thorn in the side of defensive backfields wherever you play and Purdy did a great job while being chased all over the field by our D-line. OU went into it's usual 3rd quarter coma and was damn lucky to hold on for the win. Hope you get a good draw in your bowl game, I'm afraid OU is going to draw Florida and get embarrassed. See you in the CCG game in 2021

Rattler is going to be a pain in the ass to deal with for a few years, he is damn good. Good game just too many mistakes by us oh well, it was a hell of a ride.
Should only be next year. I'd imagine he will be gone to the pros after next year. However, they have another 5 star dual threat in line after him. I think OU is finally starting to put all the pieces together to compete with the likes of Bama. The defense was the only thing holding them back and they are starting to get that piece figured out.

I think we are seeing the start of an ISU vs OU rivalry for the title game as long Campbell and Riley stick around and I love it. I never thought I would see the day where we could compete with OU or Texas.

Congrats on your win.

I just wish ISU could have brought their A game instead of their C game. I was proud of us hanging in there and having a shot at winning the game on the final drive with our C game though. Some time we will put it all together and quit shooting ourselves in the foot..... then we will be really dangerous.

But OU deserved the win by playing more mistake free football than ISU.

OU D is playing much, much better right now. Sounds like Florida may opt out, but good luck anyway I think most of us root for Big 12 in bowl season. Can’t wait for next season.

OU defense is a night and day difference since the first meeting. OU deserved to win playing a solid mistake free game. I’m hoping for a Fiesta bowl for the Clones so the Big 12 is well represented in the NY6.

Seems we almost always spot OU 14 points to start a game. It’s hard to overcome that, especially if your offense doesn’t start clicking until midway through the third. Eventually you get to a point where you just run out of time trying to come back.

On a side note, I was saying yesterday, I can’t fathom being an OU fan (or Kansas basketball). At some point doesn’t it almost get boring? Or get to the point where it’s only relief and not joy to win games like yesterday? As we were driving away from the stadium, if they weren’t wearing team colors, you wouldn’t be able to see what team lost. OU fans walking to their cars looked just as down as ISU fans did. There was no joy or celebration. It was weird.

Florida won't opt out. I'd be shocked if that happened.

Also...congrats to OU...you were the better team for 60 min yesterday.

The biggest difference in the game was the d-line for Oklahoma. Not sure if all of them return next year, but if they do Oklahoma will probably be back in the playoff.

Campbell and Riley are clearly the two best coaches in the conference. Hopefully they both stick around for years. Would be great to get a north/south rivalry going.

I’ve always rooted for OU on the national stage. Classy representative of the conference unlike some other schools. Remember when Baylor was the flagship of the Big XII? Jesus!

Baylor was good for a few years, but I think it’s a stretch to say they were ever the flagship of the conference.

Oklahoma played well and deserved to win.

Under Campbell the Iowa State - Oklahoma games have been great and I look forward to 2 of them again next year.

Best of luck to OU in their bowl.

EAT **** AND DIE, MOTHER****ER.

OU was better and I hope they kick ass in their bowl. Sick of people dissing us and the conference. Also, Rattler's sister is smoking hot...so Boomer Sooner for her I guess. Cheers.

In response to a previous post. We (sooner fans) get tired of what we perceive as questionable play calling. The "down" look is because the talent is there to win games by more than an interception to end the game for a win (in our opinion). That is not a slight to a very good Cyclone team. Glad it didn't go to overtime. Kudo's to you and the players. I have a friend that I used to work with that grew up in Iowa and is a huge Cyclone fan. Had some very good discussions back in the 80's. Good luck in the bowl game, I don't root for Texas, ever! Have a hard time rooting for OState for matter, but enjoyed watching Campbell develop IState into a team to be reckoned with.

Thanks. Too bad our defense didn't put OU in the comma earlier. We dominated the second half but it all came too late.
Hope Riley sticks around and doesn't end up in the NFL with the Cowboys.
You got your wish with Florida, but at least you don't have to face Pitts. I'll be cheering for the Sooners to beat the Gators.

I haven't seen his sister before yesterday's game. I guess she got the looks in the family because he's an ugly dude, I mean Jim Plunkett ugly.
