They remember the titles, not how you won it. I'll take the easy route to 3/4 titles any year.No one remembers the Big 12 tournament.
I'd agree if we were talking about next weekend.

I also would've preferred the resume boost playing KU, but there's little difference between playing Kansas and losing, or advancing to title game and facing Baylor or West Virginia anyway.
I hope we remain sharp and focused on TCU. Best-case would be to turn it into enough of a rout and maybe get players a little extra rest.
By 7 in mid January, yes.TCU beat us, handily. Just remember that.
I think we are a different team, and we take care of business. 10+ win.
I know KU losing is great for getting tickets (Ill likely take advantage) and makes our path to the championship easier, but playing KU in KC 3 of the previous 4 tourneys has been a freaking blast each time, and just gives the P&L area a different feel. Was looking forward to having it again tomorrow, and for that, TCU must fall.
I'd rather face KU again than WVU again. But play whomever is next and try to win the next one.
They have to win to get into the tourney. ............Looking at possibly the 3rd upset of the tournament. God help us if they continue and the final is the battle of the two purple squads.
I want Huggy and the hicks in the final. We already beat Kansas so beating the hillbillies would certainly be a great way to end the season. We owe them one.
