Looking at possibly the 3rd upset of the tournament. God help us if they continue and the final is the battle of the two purple squads.

To be fair if we can't win that is probably the best scenario with TCU winning. That gets 7 teams in.

I felt the same way at first, then I realized the last impression Monte and the seniors will leave is walking off the floor winners in front of 15,000 losers in Lawrence. Thats good enough for me, and btw **** Kansas.

WV is a team I never want to play. That too before the NCAA tourney. Their WWE style of play makes me nervous, given that we have the biggest games of the year right after.

If we end up playing West Virginia on Saturday I hope we actually get to play on Friday for once. We are going to need alot of time to recover from the injuries those hillbillies are likely to inflict on us again.

Last thing I want is to play against Huggyball again before the tourney. They have our number, and will wear us out. I'm sure the players want another shot at them, though.

Kansas St. winning tomorrow and ISU winning would be a fun Saturday night game. They aren't as passionate as Kansas but they'll turn out for the game.

I don't get this type of thinking. We want both Kansas schools out of it so that our fans can pack the place and make it basically a home game. Why in the heck do we give a crap if the other team's fans "turn out for the game?" It will be sold out no matter what and about the most fun you can ever have is hanging out down there before that championship game on Saturday and then celebrating afterwards with the entire city of Ames and part of the rest of Iowa.
