This matchup kind of reminds me of the ISU-Notre Dame game in the 2013 tournament. We won that one going away.

That was the one where the Notre Dame coach said in the post-game interview "Those were MEN. They were men." His team was slow, lost, and helpless. The media didn't know what to do because the mighty Notre Dame was beat up, beat down, and humiliated.

He made zero picks during the show. Almost like he'd be penalized for being wrong.

I didn’t listen to the whole thing but he kept saying our game was a toss up.

That just shows a complete lack of knowledge to think it is a toss up. ISU is a 6 point favorite on a neutral court.

May of been posted already but you see the broadcast team for the game:

-Brad Nessler - Minnesota native
-Evan Washburn - Maryland native
-Steve Lavin - Former Purdue Coach
-Jim Jackson (Ohio State BBall Legend)

The B1G homer-age might be strong with this one, the mute button will be ready.

I love listening to homers (not saying they are) when they are getting beat. Nothing better. If we lose I will be too pissed to care what anyone actually says during the game. The announcers are the least of my worries during a basketball game.

I don’t know how much a Maryland native will be a Big Ten homer, since Maryland has only been in the conference for like 4 years.

They suck Iowa state doesn't. That is my scouting report.

Watching the two OSU vs. Iowa games this year my thoughts were that OSU sucks... Now that we have to play them I am a little less confident but I still think we will win by 8+. Wesson is a handful but that's about it.

I’m more worried about the team having UT/TCU lapses.

Wesson isn’t anymore of a load than Lawson. Ohio St has some talent, but if we execute it’ll take outlier shooting to lose (@TCU).

I'm not too worried about that. I think we had the very good fortune of figuring out our issues, and while you'd like to figure those out early, we now have the benefit of recency.

When and if we lose in this tournament, I expect for it to be due to cold shooting or hot shooting of our opponent, not from lack of effort and intensity.

Cold shooting like the 2-20 at TCU game?

It’s the postseason. I agree effort and intensity won’t be an issue, but execution still could be.

Wesson is a nice player, but he's no Swanigan. And it was really the combination of Swanigan with Haas that really gave us problems. Ohio State doesn't have a 7-foot, all-conference giant to pair Wesson with.

And Wesson is much slower.

Perhaps you've missed the BTN's glory days films about when Nebraska was good at football 25 years ago.
