Do we rush if we win Saturday? When do we stop rushing the field after big wins? Personally, I could care less if we rush the field after every big win. Its fun to get down there with the players and coaching staff, but I know some people are in the school of thought "act like you've been there before.

A win against a top 5 team is a great win for most schools. Rush it.

(I guess I don't know if they are top 5. But close.)

I can see both sides of it. But, now that you brought it up in a thread you have jinxed us. Start knocking on wood, now!

Normally I'd be of this mindset but given recent history with KSU I say hell yes we rush.

There is no way we dont rush the field. We rush the field for anything celebratory. I went up and rushed the field when we killed Bin Laden!

Rush. Worse things to be known for than the school that rushes the field too much. I wouldn't mind rushing every game, its fun and good for unity with the team.

It is an interesting question, but I think you could make the case that we haven't been here before. We haven't beat KSU in a while and when was the last time we beat ranked teams back to back? Unless it is a highly emotional game ending on the last play or OT, I will probably not rush the field. I won't care if others rush the field either.

Probably, I was a little dumbfounded when NC State didn't rush the field after they had beat FSU. That seemed like the perfect time to rush the field.

Kind of depends how it goes down. If its close until the very end and we pull it out. Rush and Let's all sing Sweet Caroline at the top of our lungs. If we have it in hand up to the very end, Enjoy it from the stands.

Whether to rush the field or not according to Pat Forde:

If your program doesn't reek of tradition and arrogance and you beat a top-five team, storm the field. (See: Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State last year.) If your program doesn't reek of tradition and arrogance and you beat your rival in dramatic fashion, storm the field. (See: Utah vs. BYU last week.) If your program doesn't reek of tradition and arrogance and you win a conference game against a superior opponent on a last-minute play, storm the field. (See: Oklahoma vs. Baylor last year.)

Or you know, you could act like you expect to when a conference game.

What's wrong? Are you finally realizing the B1G blows and Nebraska sucks major **** so you had to come over here and tried to troll us?

Wait... did you hear that? I think Ohio State just scored on you guys, again.
