This thread is absolutely torturous to follow. I’ve already had more than enough time to clench for the official announcement. Let’s just get it over with.
He's a great player and it is a tough loss, but he's not our best defensive player and CB is not our weakest position. We have some great players on that defense (Dom Orange, Jontez, Marcus Neal)
I'll give you Dom, and his position is critical, but against the others Cooper is the most experienced, and set to be the highest drafted.
Jontez would be most experienced. Coop changed positions this year.
Surprised there isnt clarity on this yet. CMC listing as questionable really added to the uncertainty. If they knew this was an ACL would they keep him as questionable awaiting a 2nd opinion?

then why put Kyle on the out? He doesn't like to give details, not only due to keeping the other teams guessing but also to protect the players, doesn't want to go full medical and downgrade their draft stock.

My guess is that they thought ACL which is why you had the rumors from the burners/students that are in the same classes as other players.
They did some investigation and found that it was a bad sprain so seeing if they can work through it.
