Greg Hardy has made the jump to UFC and he looks legit, though he may not have all of the rules down to this point. Obviously football is more physical than basketball but you can't tell me Royce doesn't have a freakish body type if in good condition.

It's going to take a few fights before he even makes the UFC and he's going to need some KO highlights. But Dana loves guys who have atypical backgrounds because they draw crowds and attention to his sport. UFC belt? Nah, but a chance to make it into the UFC? I'm not going to say no.

Not going to lie I would love seeing Royce in the octagon
Hardy has insane 1 punch knockout power (Really the only reason why he's in the UFC). Royce's only "advantage" in a octagon is his height and reach. Unless Royce has been training muay thai his whole life, he should stick to bball.

His height won't be an advantage because any one with any BJJ and wrestling background is taking him to the ground and stealing his lunch money

This is ridiculous and make perfect sense at the same time.

Yes, Royce is totally unqualified to fight UFC.
And yes, some highly trained UFC fighter will beat him bloody and senseless.

But will he get paid a pittance for the privilege of being broken and bloodied?
Will there be drama?

It just feels...right.

Greg Hardy is not of the same mind as Royce White. He's a savage.

The chances he beats multiple elite MMA fighters on his way to a UFC championship are slim to none. The guys he'll face have been wrestling or training literally their whole lives. Plus, does he have the motivation to cut weight and get any sort of stamina?
Every time I see a UFC fight I just marvel at the fact they go 5 minute rounds. I remember us boxing back in the younger days and a 3 minute round seemed like an eternity.

Man, a lot of experts on here. But I'm not new here so I should've known. In all seriousness I kind of want to see where he goes with this career.

Please god no. Phenomenal athletes training for several months to fight in the UFC never ends well for the phenomenal athlete.
Biggest problem they have is not knowing how to take a punch. If Royce has the guts to test his chin before a real match, and get's his stamina up, he could be decent. Doesn't mean he's going to win a belt. More likely than not, he will not make it long.
