Royce traded to Sixers

This definitely gives me hope for Royce's NBA future. He has already shown to everyone that he doesn't bluff and will flat out not cooperate if he doesn't feel he's treated fairly. The Sixers obviously have seen this which means they must be willing to go to whatever lengths necessary to make it work.

If Flying is a stresser

Philly may not be a bad place for Royce if flying is causing him anxiety. <= 8-10 hours from a lot of NBA cities, so from that perspective a much better situation than Houston. Royce just needs to decide if he can be a better spokesperson for anxiety disorder by being a successful NBA player or a professional tweeter. I hope he gets:better:advise from an agent this time around.

Exactly, he got some money by going pro but that wont last forever. If he can overcome and have a successful career then he can do a lot more.

Re: If Flying is a stresser

Good luck Royce, I hope he dedicates himself this year and works out an agreement with the Sixers on his issues. He obviously has the talent to play it's just a question of if he wants to.

Wait, why is Philly a Cyclone graveyard?

Because of Brackins?

Exactly my thoughts. It worked pretty well for a couple of guys named Grayer and Hornacek.
I get it with Grayer. He only played one season with them and then was out of the league the next. But Hornacek, I don't know. He wasn't really ever happy there--certainly not as happy as he was in either Phoenix or Utah, but it didn't kill his career.

It's big business. They don't have to accommodate needs like Royces'.

will any company offering a position that requires 50% travel, is going to hire a candidate who states they won't travel?

The NBA isn't some gov't charity

All true points. Theres a lot of ex-Cyclones that have gone through Philly at some point so I guess it makes sense that Royce is the next in line.
