Absolutely. I'd love to see him on the field on Saturday, but I'd love to see him in the NFL more. And even more able to function normally when his playing days are over.
Heacock said today to the media the Rose practiced today and is dealing with "some nerve thing."

If it hasn't changed in the last 4-5 years, yes, but it is much more regulated now than it was a decade ago. I thought of that while watching Rose last Saturday.
I mean I figure they get it at the big places like bama but didn’t know if it was allowed lol
I'm hoping that this is just an ulnar nerve entrapment. Nobody seems to actually know what's going on outside of the team.

Yeah I get that. "Nerve thing" and torn biceps just seem like 2 different things. I'm mostly trying to be optimistic. I'd hate to see one of the greats end a 4 year career on an injury.
agree... I think as much as anyone - he's the face for me of these 4 years. Especially after last season - it'd would be an incredible gut punch to have it end like that but I agree with doing what is best for him...
hopefully if he has to miss its a game or so and can come back . obviously in a perfect world he's good to go but just... I have doubts we're that lucky. no knowledge or anything just a gut feeling.

In some ways I agree with you, yet on alot of the completed passes down the field, I don't think him out there would have made a difference. Sure was a tough day for our secondary, and their quarterback had all kinds of time. (which is maybe where Rose could of helped, and I don't know how we changed things due to him not being out there, either.)
i said this before somewhat in jest after Baylor, but now Im more serious: i think Hall should just sit out the rest of the year. Big12 champs was still in play, but now thats pretty much shot. Not really anything else to play for thats worth possible injury.
We are very much not out of the race. Winning our last 4 is not out of the question and most scenarios with games other than ours land us in 2nd place. This isnt the time to quit, not the team, and not our fans. And also he is 2 games away from the consecutive Rushing TD game record, saying he should quit is just ******* stupid.
