I know a lot of people stay in the Lenexa/Olathe area so I wanted to warn you about the drive.
K10 is down to one lane for about a 10 mile stretch and is slow going because no one knows
how to zipper merge. In Lawrence 23rd St is under construction and is slow going until about
Haskell. Expect delays and plan your trip accordingly. I am sorry that I can not provide an alternative route because I do not know the back roads that well.

There are not a ton of back road options due to the Kansas River. You can come in on I70 or hwy 32. K10 might be a mess on Saturday.

I live in Omaha . I usually cut over at achtionson exit and cut over to hwy 10 then south to avoid kc. decided just to go to kc and take the turnpike over instead this time.

Niece said a usual 20 minute drive is now right at 2 hours, going from Lenexa to Lawrence. Maybe they should stink like usual to help traffic.

I just take 75 down to Topeka and then east on 24, or SE 45th st.
