    This guy was a staple of my childhood sick days home from school. Couldn't watch daytime TV without Wilford pitching me home delivery of diabetes testing supplies. Bummer.

    I figured he was older than that even. He seemed like he was in his 70's back when he made Cocoon and that was 1985.

    Yeah my grandmother passed away at 98 six years ago and I think of him as older than her.

    Another one in group of you swear had passed group was Kirk Douglas who like Brimley also passed away in 2020.
