I don't like it. How spinless is it to take a shot at someone without putting your user name to it.

If you have a problem with the post, put it in writing in a reply.

Again, I agree 100% that people aught to sign the comments when they give out both positive and negative rep.

However, some people really aught to heed their own advice on signing rep before asking others to do the same.

That would be the grown up and respectful thing to do, right? :wink0st:

Yes it would ISUFan22, calling you privately would be the grow up and repsecful thing to do, however calling you out in public would not. Would you like me to call you out in public? I certainly can.....

I think its okay. For the most part, everyone respects others on this board. Some people have taken a hit on Rep because of unwarranted and overly critical opinions (i.e. bashing). I think the biggest thing people need to remember that on a message board, express your opinion, but don't really expect people to change their opinions by being overly critical of them. Just express your views and move on. This is actually one of the more adult, civil, Cyclone Forums on the Web. Some pretty good thoughts expressed.

I don't think many people leave neg rep for differing opinions...but I know that isn't the case with everyone.

I'm pretty sure that the heavy posters, ISUFan, Angie, Wesley, amyk, CJohn, etc. will never leave you neg rep just for stating your opinion. As for bashing, mean posts, name-calling...that's where it comes from.

Thanks, Cycloneworld - and you're right. I've only left a few pieces of neg rep ever, and that was for people who were being jerks just to be jerks. I know you're the same way. :)

Except I'm probably more of a jerk than you. Not in leaving rep but just in life. :wink0st:

Oh I would definitely agree to that even though I haven't met either one of you.:yes4lo:

LOL - didn't you both hear that I pushed down an eight-year-old for my avatar??? :wink0st:

(Disclaimer: Again - totally kidding.)

My day isn't complete until I push down at least three 8-year-olds. But one for a picture is a good start.

You win!! Now the moral dilemma - I really think I have to give you good rep for that post... :yes4lo:

I would have thought a thread about shoving eight-year-olds would generate more discussion. I thought there would be more people interested in that.

Keep it but could use some tweeks. I like how noobs can't effect your rep much but if someone is going to leave you negative rep I think it should be mandatory that it identifies who left it so people don't abuse it based on they don't like someone. Maybe just make the rep so that any left shows who left it? I know myself and some others always tack on notes when we leave rep so you know who left it. :)

It doesn't get interesting to me until Clone Cones are knocked over and ruined while pushing the eight-year-old out of the way for a picture.

Hopefully it will be webcast, so I can watch the "Tim Dance" from you, Angie traumatizing little kids, and of course the infamous downing of Clone Cones. Can you imagine how great you guys would look on the big scoreboard.

8 year olds?!?! Ha...you guys are rookies! I started with shoving 8 year olds but then it gets addicting and 8 year olds aren't enough. Then you start pushing 7, 6, and 5 year olds. When that high wears off, you are shoving pre-schoolers. And if you get down to my level...you are pushing babies. God I need help! :rofl8yi:
