Release: Palo suspended indefinitely

As opposed to running from the law? Regardless of guilt, you have two options: Turn yourself in, or try to run/hide.

He may very well be guilty, but turning himself in doesn't mean much.

It does mean something -- that he is not turning one alleged mistake into two. If you run from the law you are compounding your problems whether you were innocent or guilty to begin with. Do you think a judge is going to set bail at a reasonable level or at all if you have already run once? Have fun sitting in jail waiting for your trial.

After reading the threads it makes me pray to God that I never have to have a jury of my peers sit in judgement over me. There is a whole bucketful of stupid conclusions and supposition of guilt without knowing more than a snippet of information. It doesn't look good for Bubu, but people drawing conclusions of guilt from the information at hand are way off base.

He's suspended indefinitely, great, he should be. Is he guilty? We don't know. Should he be thrown off the team guilty or innocent as a poster has suggested. Ridiculous. The existence of DNA evidence proves he is guilty? We don't know that. It could prove only that he had sex with the alleged victim. It could just prove that his DNA was found at the residence. We don't know.

He could be guilty as hell or he could have been the victim of a false accusation after consensual sex. Let the courts try him -- with all of the information -- that is what they are there for.
