I don't think I've ever seen an ISU recruit since I've been paying attention to recruiting quite like him... he just seems three steps ahead of everyone on the court, and like he knows exactly what to do.
Hes at 65 now
I saw they did? Says 2/28/18 also, for me.They didn't update their own rankings
Looking again they now have him at 113, but there is nobody ranked 112. They're really struggling hahaComposite, still 111 in 247's rankings. Once they update their own rankings he'll go up quite a bit
I think he'll break the Top 25 in at least one of the rating systems when all is said and done.

Yup, AD was not up for Mr. Illinois BBall because he went to a private school, IIRC.
Hmm, interesting, Idk why I was under the impression Private Schools can't be put up for the award. You are right kinda...He was rated but came in 4th in Mr. basketball for Illinois

But to AD's fairness, that was his first year he was at 6'11 and he was getting the national attention. Playing on a crappy team didn't help him any either, I'm sure.
edit: looking back, the Private Schools thing I said is wrong(maybe prep was what I was thinking). Because Sobo from Benet also got votes (amazing he was the higher recruit of him and Frank Kaminsky). My b.
Simeon has 4 of the top 15 players in Illinois according to 247:I remember as a freshman watching a rival school here in Iowa that ended up sending 3 players to D1 colleges. While I didn't necessarily cheer for them, they were certainly fun to watch.
And people are debating if THT should be #1 even. Ayo is a helluva player, but the rumblings are warranted due to the way THT has just taken over that city this year.Simeon has 4 of the top 15 players in Illinois according to 247:
2. Horton-Tucker - Iowa State
9. Kezo Brown - Unsigned (Claims KU and kNU offers)
14. Xavier Pinson - Mizzou
15. Messiah Jones - Drake
It's always fun to see that Iowa State has #2, #3 (Griffin) and #8 (Conditt) from that '18 Illinois class.
