As long as this thread was resurrected, I’ll say something that I’ve commented on elsewhere.

This kid is big, he can run, and he hits like a Mack truck.

In my considered opinion—and I’ve been doing this a long time—the best linebacker recruit at ISU since a guy named Blair.

Who, for that matter, didn’t actually play linebacker as a Cyclone.

With the depth in the room, special teams as a frosh.

Not exactly sure.
I'm a bit amazed when a track record at a school stands for 20+ years with all the changes in fitness, training and nutrition.

But guess to show on a micro/school level, being a freak athlete is a big differentiator.
There was a state record that last 35 years and another that was around 30. Sometimes a kid comes through that just has it.
