Is that within the rules? That seems awfully iffy to me.
Agree, I'm sure there's some loophole but it just doesn't seem right.

Payne is not an affiliated Cyclone player, so nothing wrong there...Is that within the rules? That seems awfully iffy to me.

No dif than UNC using Jordan all the time.
Who was it that said we'd have the best backcourt in the nation if we got Long and the kid from illinois? I honestly don't know who said it but I hate that kind of rah rah stuff that's based on pure fantasy and wishful thinking.
This is the air our grievenaces thread, right?
Does anybody know if anything became of our interest in Thon Maker? I noticed it mentioned a month or so ago.

I'm sure our interest is great. I just don't think that interest is returned.
You sir, know nothing about the NCAA.If OSU can give recruits student-prostitutes, i think Prohm can have an ex-player from a different school talk to Long

Or a booster. It is a nice loophole for us.Payne is not an affiliated Cyclone player, so nothing wrong there...
Jordan is a UNC booster so yeah it is different. UNC using Jordan would have to count as an official contact. It is like when Ashton Kutcher met with Iowa recruits and they got reprimanded. I know UNC supposedly does it but I am sure that he must use very non direct language about unc. Otherwise not sure how he does it.No dif than UNC using Jordan all the time.
