Wow, this hurts. I loved his videos. He looked strong, tall and aggressive.

Thumbs Up[/h] None...

This is great news. Now we will have 1 year to evaluate him and decide if we really want him when he transfers next year. I assume Fred has guided him to play for Oregon and then he will transfer to the good guys.

Man, I hope the Greek kid pans out, because there have been a couple of good players that have opened up availability recently.

I am very excited to see Tsalmpouris play at ISU but I also agree with what you said. I'd rather have a proven transfer or highly ranked prep player over a barely known European but you can't teach height and Tsalmpouris has it. Everyone is dogging on GT's body but by the looks of what the training staff has done with Georges, GT will have a completely different body after a few months in Ames.

We've got to be careful a little bit, both from an experience standpoint in the makeup of the team, as well as having a whole bunch of Chiefs and no Indians.

@TravisHines21: 247Sports updated its 2015 hoops rankings today. See where Iowa State's targets landed http://t.co/ahFO25f9d4

ISU 2015 targets ranked by 247Sports
3. Cheick Diallo, PF, NY
18. Henry Ellenson, PF, WI
40. Chris Clarke, SG, VA
44. Dillon Brooks, SF, CAN
66. Esa Ahmad, PF, OH
141. A.J. Turner, SF, MI

Hines doesn't mention Jarvis Johnson (104) or Alex Illikainen (106) although many of us thought ISU has cooled on them for a while now. And some GopherHole dude says they're both going to Minnesota so there's that too.

What's the 141 guy doing in there?

Get outta here.

The sorta out-of nowhere breaking news on Dillon Brooks to Oregon buzz is starting to get some clarity...

@TheRecruitScoop: RT @GoodmanESPN: Oregon is likely to hire Canisius assistant Mike Mennenga to the staff. He will help to bring Dillon Brooks aboard, also.

My god, are kids really that tight with their high school/aau coaches? It just seems silly to me that you would want to tie yourself to an adult looking for career advancement.
