I don't disagree that it's cool for his dad to help and play a role. And I wasn't knocking the guys family, it just seemed weird when he kept using "we" when decribing the situation. I know this isn't the only family where a parent speaks on behalf of their children but it always seems a bit odd to me.As a father of a 17 year old junior, I can't imagine my son going through the recruiting process as a top 25 recruit without my help. I think it is awesome to see a parent playing an active role in his son's life.
But I do think that the kid will have to learn to talk to the media at some point, might as well get confortable now. I would much rather deal with one or two reporters at a young age than be thrown in to a room full of 50 jerks at the age of 20 after a tough loss.
