It looks like we are under serious consideration now for Vaughn, Travis, Abu, Johnson, Macura, and Cunningham. I'd be very happy if we landed any two from this list. My hope is we get Vaughn, Travis, and Abu. It'll make our front court as deep as our back court for 2014-15.

I have to admit I was disappointed we didn't get any committs in June as I think Niang committed in May and Thomas and Morris in June. Is there any reason we shouldn't expect anything until fall? Not totally sure about recruiting schedule-wise.

We already have Custer, a top 150 PG. But on top of that, the big fish we are after have a lot of suitors and all seem to want to take their time.

I wonder if once two or three of the big fish decide, then the dominos begin to fall. Meaning, several of the higher recruits have many of the same schools on their list. Will be an interesting Sept. after the many official visits for so many recruits.

Michigan has started sniffing around on Cunningham... (has yet to offer)
Michigan is jumping into a recruitment that is already well underway for most schools tracking Cunningham. The talented wing holds offers from Northwestern, Dayton, Bradley, DePaul, Missouri, St. Johns, Oklahoma, Iowa, Iowa State, Northwestern, Nebraska and Creighton.

As his prep career winds down, Cunningham will look to make a decision at the end of this winter’s high school basketball season.

2014 wing Josh Cunningham becomes late Michigan target
There isn't a single school on that list that worries me. He may lose his offer if he waits too long. There are a million offers we have out there and only two scholarships.

Michigan is the real wildcard there. I think if they offer, he is gone. But overall, I like our chances if we keep pushing hard. The though of him, Vaughn & either Abu or Johnson gives me goosebumps.

From what I understand if Jaylen doesn't commit to Louisville we are the favorite for his services. Is that everyone else's position on him?

I hadn't heard that explicitly, but sort of assumed that was the case.

And if you look at Louisville's offer list, you can't think he is their no. 1 priority. They basically have offers to half of the top 50.

I feel like Trey Lyles is the best chance to bump JJ on L'villes "want" list. Doesn't seem like L'ville is much in play for Cliff Alexander
