Relevant section... I suppose it could be read that way. Either way he clearly indicates MSU is the front Runner at the end. Hence I think the "Msu's to lose comment" being valid at this point:

As for his future, Bridges currently has a top five. He listed them, in order, as Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, Kentucky and Louisville.

“I’m open to everybody right now,” he said, adding that he expects to make a decision by September.

Who has recruited him the hardest?

“Michigan State,” he said.

But asked if that’s the frontrunner, he noted, “It’s only 45 minutes away from my house, so …”

That thought may have been influenced by his surroundings, as a host of family members were in attendance for a rare chance to see him play.

“It’s great to be back,” Bridges said. “I miss home so much. My mom, my family, my friends. It’s great to be back playing in front of them.”
Every family member can watch every game. It's this new thing called the television.

The only negative about that actually happening with Bridges is that he is a top 10 kid that Michigan or Sparty will hold a spot for no matter what. There will not be an ultimatum for a kid with his talent.

His quote on family only being 45 mins from East Lansing and deciding in September points to staying at home. Crazier things have happened though.

Maybe we will be in luck and the kid had the same geography teacher as Justin Hamilton...

Curious on the last 3 scholarships for this year. Even if NN takes the 2nd one, we have two left. Obviously, TJ is looking for frontcourt help, but both Jucos we were mentioned with (1 to UCLA and Boucher was a "probably not" according to wanting to start, per 'insight' on here). Too many posts to go back through, but wasn't it a poster named Jeremy who claimed we'd need to be patient at first but we'd be excited about what was still coming? (My sincere apologies if I have the wrong poster). If you're out there, Jeremy, (or whomever) was that just high hopes and trust in our staff due to time left in April/May, and asking for our patience,....or is exciting news still to come.....or did some names you heard about fall through w/ Matt leaving and/or player change of mind? Read where Tyler Harris was visiting Tech and Auburn, but didn't mention us. Not sure if there's an immediate eligible and 'contributing big' left out there, juco or transfer, but maybe there is. Just a question to that particular post/poster, that's all. Not questioning anyone's info.

Lol yes, it was some poster named Jeremy. He used to run this site before Chris, so I'd feel pretty good about his sources.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the site and you will find info on Jeremy. If you click on his name you will even get his email address! PS: he knows exactly what Chris knows.

Otz started flowing Chris Olivier from Eastern Illinois.
Also I wonder if they are really going after Tyler Harris?

Update on Maverick Rowan, looking like he may not be able reclassify to 2015 after all. Probably good news for ISU as it was thought he was a heavy Louisville lean at this stage of his recruitment.

http://247sports.com/Article/2015-Light-Growing-Dimmer-For-Maverick-Rowan-36897708

"Rowan took an official visit to Louisville in early March, just days after Rick Pitino watched the coveted wing. Pitino and the Cardinals have been the favorite on the 247Sports CrystalBall since Rowan decommitted from Pittsburgh back in September. “Everyone else is still in it for 15, even North Carolina,” said Rowan. “Even though they have a big log jam, they still want me.”
Rowan listed Louisville, Pittsburgh, Virginia, NC State, North Carolina, Florida, Wisconsin and Iowa State amongst others who have offered for 2015.
With four officials remaining, Rowan plans on taking all of them, no matter the final classification."

Wasnt he on UNI for awhile?

Looks like for one year... Chris Olivier could be an emmdiately eligiable big possiblity to take Edozie's role next year? Not familiar with his game just noticed he was 6'8" from his profile.

@AlexHalsted: Scout's @BSnowScout has an update on Iowa State 2016 prospect Miles Bridges recruitment ($): http://foxs.pt/1DJORa0

Who wants to hook us up with the details?

1) Talks about his relationship with Michigan St since 8th grade
2) Says Bielien went to his school and talked with him for an hour
3) Expects a Kentucky offer soon, says he has a great relationship with Cal even though no offer?
4) Hopes to take visits in September
5) No Iowa St mention from him personally other than they were there watching him recently with a bunch of other schools

There hasn't been any official word that Chris Oliver is transferring. He has gone to school for 3 years so I don't think he'd be an immediately eligible transfer. Possibly though.

This is a foreign concept to most of us on CF, but it is possible to graduate in 3 years.

Per his old UNI profile, he redshirted in 2011-2012, so he would just be finishing his 4th year of college. (2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015). It's quite possible that he's graduating in May.

Ah I missed that. Was just looking at his ESPN profile. Yeah very possible he's graduating this year.
