I got the Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii double LP released in May 2025.
My Freshman year ('97) I was at the record store on Lincoln Way across from campus and found this version (released in '72?) of the soundtrack. I didn't have any money so I came back the next day ready to buy it and of course it was gone.

Anyone get anything good?

Nope. I'm a geezer, but I don't do 45's, LP's, cassettes, or CD's anymore.

Besides, none of those formats give me music like this...

I rec'd gifts of Mingus, Mingus, Mingus; Herbie Hancock-Maiden Voyage; and Beatles--Anthology 4.

I got Suicidal Tendencies self titled and Iron Maiden "Powerslave."

During covid my favorite musician, Dax Riggs, was signing all merch ordered from his website, so I ordered some cool stuff. Got a signed Agents of Oblivion record and a signed Acid Bath record. Also picked up a signed Goatwhore record a couple years back at a record store that didn't survive covid.

What are some good record stores in Iowa that I can check out once I move back?

I have both of those. Did not think of you as a jazz guy.
I feel like Kind of Blue transcends genre and everyone should listen to it at least once. Like Sgt. Pepper's...I'm not a Beatles superfan but I think everyone should listen to that record.

I got Madvillain: Madvillainy and GZA: Liquid Swords.

Trying to diversify my collection beyond indie and classic rock albums.
I'm not big on rap, other than 80s through mid 90s, but man do I love Liquid Swords. That is in my CD player in the car at the moment, actually. GZA just did a show here but I had to work that night.

I thought that I was the only person on Earth who remembered Dharma Records on Lincoln Way.
