I'm fine with 13 teams. Arizona can go down like the Titanic band.

Sit back and wait for Virginia Tech or Pitt when the ACC implodes.
This has been said so many times just in the last few days. We can't have 13 members. the 9-game schedule for football doesn't work.

As of right now Arizona to the Big 12 is a very long ways from a forgone conclusion.

Every aspect of their university has wanted to join for a year and they’ve been thinking about it longer than that.

They’d be the first school in history of realignment to be blocked from doing what the pres, alumni, fans and boosters all really want to do. They haven’t been wrestling with the deceision.

Im thinking Oklahoma State will demand Texas games every year.
colo. same.
ISU can get good recruits from Ohio and Florida.
WVU doesnt recruit Texas much at all.

I think who's in what pod will be a bit contentious as coaches at some schools want a heavy dose of Texas schools.

There will be protected rivals, maybe even 3 rivals, so schools like ISU can get a good dose of big 8 schools.

You will always have Texas Games.....regardless of your protected rivals/pods. We play 9 games every year. More than half are going to be outside your pod/rivals. There are 4 Texas teams. You just might not play all 4 every year.

I could be thinking wrong here so help me out... Why would you sign the GOR before you've agreed and signed onto the media rights deal?

I may be wrong, but I think it's just going to be discussed.

It's genius for PAC 12 corp to discuss it, great for Oregon State, Washington State, Cal, and Stanford.

It would be really, really stupid for every other school to think about it.

ASU still owes some buyout for Herm Edwards. Crow is an arrogant idiot who led the PAC 12 schools to follow Larry Scott. And now supports George.
