Lol FSU and Clemson have seen the writing on the wall for a while, 10+ years in advance of their current GOR expiration.

Meanwhile Utah and ASU over the last few months coming up on less than a year now:

Why does everyone care who gets the “blame”? That doesn’t matter at all. B10 taking ORWA effectively kills the P12, where they can’t even backfill, and nets us the 4 corners. Which is what everyone wanted when USCLA departed.

I do want the ACC to hang on a little longer to get the 4 corners integrated. That way when Clemson, FSU, UNC, UVa and whoever else goes to the SEC/B10, they can’t backfill with Utah and ASU

Wow, that Big Ten is SOOOOooooo nice. Throwing a lifeline to those poor PAC teams way out there in the west... when there was a P5 team right inside their footprint that was twice on the verge of being left behind.

And they didn't bat an eyelash.

It's all about the money. DUHHHHHHH!!!!!!

This is the passengers of the titanic finding an iceberg to climb up on to get out of the water and exclaim “I’m sure glad this was here”

Who would have ever thought that, if conferences ever consolidated to a Power 3, that the B12 would possibly have a seat at the table. I mean, who knows what is going to happen, and if it will happen this year or in 5 years, but you have to agree that the B12 has a great chance to be #3.

In fairness, the signed it not with no knowledge of the absolutely stupid deals the SEC and Big Ten were going to sign. More a victim of timing than anything.

They wanted to avoid the big 12’s situation years back and it did that…now they want it both ways.

Who knew we’d be better off barely sieving three existential threats and regrouping. At the time I’d have dreamed of doing what ACC did.

I think there were some posters on here that thought schools wouldn't ask for unequal revenue distribution until a few years down the road. I'm too lazy to find specific posts, though.

Our current B12 situation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
ACC with the old big 12 rules

Regardless of who leaked this or their motives… this makes it impossible for them to get a GOR or a media deal figured out.

Stanford/Cal is basically dependent on Big Ten charity.

They add almost no viewership and the prestige of the academic brands doesn’t come close to the cut they’ll eventually take.

Seems like mutual complete disinterest between them and Big 12 so it’s big ten charity or bust.
