This last year of re-alignment has created dozens and dozens of new twitter "journalists" who all seem to have sources about things that will happen "imminently" or "in the next week" lol
Helps that they can buy blue check marks and look legit upon first glance.

I'm not buying these Clemson/FSU and Oregon/Washington rumors to the Big 10. It seems that if the Big 10 wanted Oregon/Washington they would have already added them. I think I read that Oregon/Washington will actually make the dollar amounts per team go down. I don't think Clemson/FSU can handle the exit costs it would take to break their GOR.

How many times over the past 3 months have we seen the post “If CU was going to the Big 12 they would have done it already”…so that’s obviously not how this works.

If $200 mil is the number, that's either $20m per school (assuming they go back to 10) or $17m for 8 of them so OU and Wash can get $32m. Is that enough to keep OU/Wash? Any more than that and it gets real bad for the remainders.

Maybe the Big ten moves on Oregon and Washington if/when the four corner schools leave, and get em for a discount. I could see USC and UCLA pushing for closer conference mates.

If I'm Wazzou I'm signing that and forging the other 8 signatures by noon. A stint in Federal Prison is preferable to a GOR in the Moutain West.

I won’t believe it until I see it.

With that said, people overstate the ACC contract. It’s not that teams CAN’T leave, it’s just so expensive as to not be very practical. However, IF they can get enough of a bump from the new conference and have donor backfill, a few teams might feel it’s the time.

Again, I have no info and highly doubt it. But it’s not impossible.

I can agree with some of that, but I'm not seeing how Oregon/Washington add any value to what each team is currently getting right now. It would be nice for USC/UCLA to have something closer for them and that is about the only benefit I can see at this time.
