The Pac attendance is terrible. KU does a nice job of bringing the Big 12 down. Wilner is a serious delusional state.
The number of fannies in the seats, baby!!! Screw the percentages. We might be high on that list but it’s still the stupidest and most useless stat. Attendance is important, but capacity percentage means nothing. Which would you rather have - 50% capacity of a 100k seat stadium or 99% capacity of a 25k seat stadium?
Not to mention just putting a tarp over sections takes those seats out of the capacity number.
Amazon has been out for awhile, if there was a streamer getting involved it’s Apple as they specifically came back to the talks after the Cali schools were added. Anything is certainly possible at this point and whatever happened before adding Cali has to be reevaluated.Warren said at B1G media days that there would be new media 'partners' announced soon. The articles I read assumed that mean NBC or CBS or possibly both. Also Amazon. I haven't heard of anyone 'ruled out' yet.

Sorry if posted, but a decent headline for the Big 12.... shocked I say! Shocked!
Agreed. He was surprised by their numbers, shouldnt have been; they were a Top 15-25 team under Leach.I guess, so are 2016-current ISU numbers an outlier, they are the Campbell years.
Tarps aren’t bad always. Place to sober up with a little nappy or taking a coed for a little halftime show……..We might be high on that list but it’s still the stupidest and most useless stat. You got that right. Except for Kansas, everybody is 88% and up. I wouldn't call that empty.Wilner said 'a lot of empty seats'. Statistically, that isn't true for the big 12.
Anti trust stuff from the big 10 lines up with what they've been saying the whole time, they want the pac to crumble, then pick up the pieces. They are hoping the big 12 can do their dirty work.

Yes agree, and it seems like they are comparing the number to the current Big 12 estimate and not an expanded conference. His hypothetical $35 million per team PAC-12 deal is a far cry from the $25 million number that’s been floated around. It’s also interesting that even in his rosiest hypothetical, the Big 12 number is still higher. That says a lot.
I like this Scheer guy:
San Diego State? I thought he meant South Dakota State.San Diego didnt give a **** about their pro team, why would they care about a college team.

I guess I didn't interpret that Fox & ESPN were going to bid on Big12. The term author used was "engaged".Pretty solid take on where each conference stands as of today.
Big 10 announcement of their media deal is the first domino to fall.
B12 is in good position - Especially liked the nugget that Fox and ESPN are bidding for 2025 rights. Theyare driving this disorder but if they want the B12 to survive it will and they pay for it.
