Just to note I believe the B12 is selling the Tier 1/2 rights and letting the schools own/shop their Tier 3 like as we have seen in the past. IF that is still the case the west coast presence of AppleTV/Amazon could raise the value for individual schools substantially.
Everything could and will most likely be different during next round of TV rights. Just because T3 was owned by schools in this round doesn’t mean they will be next time.

Not saying he’s right, but the four added could certainly have dilutive effect. Pie being divided into more pieces.
This is true, and the Big 12 would likely still want it, as it’s much better to have a “P3” setup in which there are no other middle tier conferences than add a few million.

The leftovers of all three conferences benefit from consolidation into one, assuming you make the cut. I’m guessing ESPN does not plan on ISU making that cut if they get the ACC to be the base of a “3rd” conference. They’d take the minimum required for dissolution, focusing on state of Texas, KU, Ok St , Cincinnati, WVU etc

Until BYU officially joins the Big 12 on July 1, 2023, they are not a member. Only members can vote is my understanding.
Makes me wonder if Texas and OU have votes? Can they be trusted with negotition updates?

Wait is that a real tattoo? I honestly thought it was a meme someone created
Technically he has the word “Hawkeyes” on his ample belly with the Tigerhawk and yellow and black stripes on the building behind him (house? Garage?) But there are a bunch of other tats on the torso which could also be a tigerhawk.

A conference tattoo is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

Georgia Tech is a great academic school (better than UGA, not quite as elite as Emory). Not sure if people in Georgia care if Tech plays in a "Power" football conference. Georgia/Atlanta is all Dogs (and other SEC teams).
Old Georgia recruiting trick for players considering both GT and UGA. Give the recruit two books: One the UGA (fake) playbook and the other a GT Calculus book! It's still a requirement for all GT grads to take Calculus, as far as I know.
