So all those folks who signed on in support of Cruz/Cantwell all have their head in the sand including Saban, Yormark, Phillips, Pollard, etc. and they all think it doesn't have prayer? The omission of Sankey/ Petitti was glaring and made it obvious what their preferred intentions are (along with Fox and ESPN).Yeah but Fed intervention is never happening and was never happening. You’re the only one who thought it had a prayer.
In making those comments JP is potentially writing ISU’s athletic eulogy to make a political point that’s meaningless. Guy is a great AD but that was a massive misstep
If Cruz/Cantwell gets passed this year or next or even if it never does, Sankey/Petitti are now on an island politically regarding their threats of a breakaway and their actions in possibly relegating 20-25 more P4 schools. And it is foolish on your end to think that JP's comments worsen the odds of ISU being relegated. And Sankey's and Petitti's lack of a public response so far to JP's comments is also no surprise given the political island they're now on.
Petitti's quote that supports change in the system to “make sure student-athletes are getting what we want them to get.” “You’ve got a short-term, immediate issue.“ is, by far, the biggest BS and most hypocritical quote of them all. His schools made NIL promises outside of CSC/House criteria that he signed up for and now that prick wants the rules changed under threat of a breakaway. He is the dude writing his political eulogy.
