When you blow your load in 10 seconds with a new girl that you’re looking to start dating…”that’s just “accelerated progress” baby. We’ve got a framework now you’ll stick around to find out the real deal in a few weeks right? Right?”. **** these people. Just murdering fans as they run over them while moving the goalposts

And when they don't have a deal in 3 weeks there will be a new deadline. And one after that and one after that until they're no longer on TV.

The don't even claim to have a deal in 3 weeks. Just a more substantive framework.

I think I know what Yormark is up to with his “We like the number 14” statement this week.

Not really a reason to. If you are Colorado and Arizona, you've likely got spots wrapped up in the Big 12 no matter when. Might as well wait to see what the Pac 12 deal is before jumping.
Not only that, it just looks better to do it after the numbers come out.

Yep and they know if they jumped early the PAC-12 would try to paint them as the “de-stabilizers”. Now everyone is going to see the crap deal and be like “can’t blame them”. Yormark might not even want them to jump early even if they wanted to. The egg is going to be solely on the PACs face.

One of the funniest things I think about with this is last week when the PAC pumped out the “GOR Agreement” to their media hacks.
This SDSU fiasco is hilarious too. I wonder if the MWC makes them sign some sort of binding agreement, as the conference has made it readily clear they consider SDSU’s letter a withdrawal notice.

Not sure if you’re including Thamel as a “media hack”, but he’s legit. Only reports tangible, significant facts. I take his stories/tweets to the bank. Pretty much everyone else I take with a grain of salt. Some more salty than others

No Thamel’s fine he just pumped out that info. It’s the Wilber’s and Clownzanos that took it and ran with the “if they don’t have a great deal why would they have a GOR agreement?” narrative.

I don’t think he ever reported on the “GOR agreement”. I think that was Dellenger from SI, and then Wilner and Canzano ran with it.

Sounds to me that SDSU just got a look at how big the hole is that was made when USC and UCLA exited the PAC. The ship could be headed for the bottom.
Eh, there’s no way the PAC adds schools without a media deal. And it seems unlikely anyone would accept an invite without knowing what they’re signing up for. If they add, it would come at the same time as the media deal gets announced.

SDSU was just asking for an extension of the deadline in case the PAC does extend an invite this summer. IMO, it seems most likely the PAC would raid the MWC and continue on as a shell of its former self.
