Rankings Drop?

I agree with us dropping out, but there’s no reason Clemson should be ranked. Their season is eerily similar to ours. Loss against a team currently in the Top 5, OT/2 point conversion loss to team currently ranked in the 20s, smoked a bad team, and snuck by in the other game for a 2-2 overall record.

Both us and UNC have pulled off the dubious feat of having a top-10 ranking to being unranked before October. Hard to do, but dammit we can always do something that's hard to do in a bad way.

Side note Clemson still being ranked #25 is comical and totally an example of living off the name only. They have looked arguably worse than we have.

The 2 teams we beat UNI(ok for FCS) UNLV has zero pulse. We lost to 2 teams who have a pulse. Our wins are basically garbage.

Agree. That’s why I said we shouldn’t be ranked. Just saying Clemson shouldn’t be either.

Lmfao, why did OU fall below Iowa? A 3 point win to WVU at home is worse than a 10 point win at home to 1-3 CSU? Makes no sense.

Expectations matter. Nobody expects Iowa to score on offense. Everybody expects OU to score on every possession. One gets punished for having expectations and one is shielded from judgment because of a lack of expectations.

Iowa's going to stop getting gifts at some point. They are clearly not a Top 10 team, but college football has been pretty bad so far.
