Looking at AP poll and 8 of 10 Big12 schools ranked or receiving votes. BU and KU are only ones unranked \ not receiving votes.

Nice to be ranked, but rankings really are a waste of time at this point. Nobody knows anything about the relative strength of most of these teams other than maybe Alabama and Georgia.

After a 48-3 beatdown, a ranking drop for Iowa State still applies to our buddy Rece Davis. He drops us this week from 19 to 22.

Rankings don’t matter until the CFP Poll. Obviously it’s nice to see and have an idea, but the playoff poll ranked us higher than the AP and Coaches Polls did last year.

There will likely be a lot of drop outs this week and new teams in as the ranked teams took a beating overall. Personally don't think ISU is a ranked team at the moment so not worried about falling out. We need to show we deserve it before being ranked.
